Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration and Open House 20 October 2007 Until 20 October 2007 To mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan and the beginning of Syawal, a month-long celebration is held. Abundant food and delicacies are shared amongst the guests. Visitors can participate in the many official "open houses" that take place during this month.

Sultan's Cup Terengganu Endurance Challenge 9 November 2007 Until 11 November 2007 This competition tests the endurance of competing horses in four categories, i.e 120km, 80km, 40km and 26km. Some 15 countries such as Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Australia, UAE and US are expected to participate in this competition which will be the official trial race for the FEI World Endurance 2008.

Terengganu Monsoon Cup 2007 28 November 2007 Until 2 December 2007 Pulau Duyong, famed for its traditional boat building industry, is the host for the international boat racing event under the Swedish Match Tour. Various other events are held in conjunction with the Monsoon Cup to showcase Terengganu's rich art heritage.

Terengganu Masters 2007 14 March 2007 Until 18 March 2007 Held for five days, the event covers practice rounds, a golf clinic and pro am. The competition will feature 120 professional golfers with participation from a minimum of 40 foreign pro golfers. It will promote the Visit Terengganu Year 2008 and introduce Terengganu to the world through golf tournaments.

Kapas-Marang Interenational Swimathon 2007 14 April 2007 Until 15 April 2007 This annual competition tests the mental and physical strength of participants as they contend the waves some 6.5km from Kapas Island to Marang.

Kenyir International Mountain Bike Challenge 2007 26 April 2007 Until 29 April 2007 Watch the thrill as 250 local and international cyclist blaze trails in two events, Cross Country and Down Hill. Jointly organised with the Malaysian National Cycling Federation, this event is accredited by International Cycling Union (UCI). Cash prizes and medals await winners.

Squid Fishing Fiesta 2007 11 May 2007 Until 13 May 2007 This marks the beginning of the squid fishing season in Terengganu, a unique and exciting event that will be enjoyed by locals and international visitors. Other entertaining programmes include sand castle building, beach volleyball, traditional games and cultural performances. Throughout the squid fishing month, the flashing lights from boats and sampan at sea will be a sight to behold.

Kenyir Lake International Triathlon 2007 3 June 2007 Until 3 June 2007 An event that comprises three different activities - swimming, cycling and running - in the vicinity of Kenyir Lake. This largest man-made lake in Southest Asia has over 340 islands and 11 waterfalls. The beauty of its natural setting makes a marvelous backdrop to the event. Locals and foreigners alike can participate in 10 categories.

Terengganu International 4WD Rainforest Challenge 1 December 2007 Until 10 December 2007 Participants from 30 countries including Italy, Poland, Mexico, Russia, Argentina, Spain and Holland will take part in this international 4WD challenge. In this test of physical and mental endurance, participants must get across the tropical rainforest and strive to overcome various challenges dubbed as 'Twilight Zone', 'Predator' and 'Terminator'. Delight in the flora and fauna along the way, particularly at the Tasik Kenyir area, which boasts the oldest tropical rainforest here.
